MD Storage vCenter plug-in and vCSA 5.5

I wonder if the MD Storage vCenter plug-in is compatible with version 5.5 vCenter appliance (vCSA 5.5.)?

If the answer is yes can I also install the application server part on the same vCSA , being the latter a custom version of openSUSE 11??
