hi everybody setting up a JBOD on a H800 I see that LDs created are all like: .... Virtual Drive: 1 (Target Id: 1) Name : RAID Level : Primary-0, Secondary-0, RAID Level Qualifier-0 Size : 4.547 TB Sector Size : 512 # <= here Parity Size : 0 State : Optimal Strip Size : 64 KB Number Of Drives : 1 Span Depth : 1 .... and the drives are, hdparm output when on directly on a SATA link: .. CHS current addressable sectors: 16514064 LBA user addressable sectors: 268435455 LBA48 user addressable sectors: 9767541168 Logical Sector size: 512 bytes Physical Sector size: 4096 bytes #<= here .. this surely is not correct, am I right? could maybe ideally a Dell's representative shed more light on the situation of modern PERCs + Advanced Format Technology - 4k.
many thanks does it work out of the box? Any manual tweaking that can fix the problem?
