Been doing a lot of reading about dynamic disk pools lately.....

Sounds like things are moving that way. Only downsides are no support for SSDs or enclosure loss protection.
I have a MD3220 and would like to start implementing DDPs in my storage array. Has anyone had good experience with these? One of my main gripes now with traditional RAID is build times when expanding storage by either adding disks to a group or expanding a virtual disk. I know th at SSDs are not supported, but can someone tell me for sure if Enclosure Loss Protection is in fact NOT supported with DDPs? That might be a hangup for me.
Thanks for the help!!!
Also, what is the best way to calculate usable storage on a DDP? Anyone know of a calculator out there?
