Hello,
I have created 2 virtual disks on my MD1000, one has 3x 2TB sata III RAID 0 [6TB] and second one has 4x 2TB sata III RAID 5 [6TB], both have ext4 filesystem, I did not create any partitions, just run sfdisk -R /dev/sdX and then mount /dev/sdX /mnt/diskX, everything mounted, works fine, benchmarked throughput, everything is fine, no failure predicted in DELL OMSA, all disks are Online, green led.
But when I execute umount /mnt/diskX it unmounts but I can not mount it back, having bad superblocks and it takes hours/days to run e2fsck.
Where could be the problem? Btw. I am not using interposers [could that be the problem?] But I am writing and reading to mounted disks without problem, the problem happens when I try to unmount them and mount back, it is like broken ext4 partition. Could this be an issue of Perc 5 controller or MD1000? or some wrong setup?
Debian 7.1 Wheezy on Poweredge 1950 III
Thanks in advance.
