I have Dell SAN storage, with two Controller each controller have two ISCSI ports, one management port and one reserved Ethernet port.
I have two question:-
First Is:- according to best practice should we keep all Iscsi ports into the same VLAN or its should be in different vlans?
Second is:- i was assigning the IP address to each controller ISCSI port as well as managment port according to my network. with the help of San Storage software.
i went to configure wizard, i changed the IP address on each interface of SAN storage and apply the setting, it said applied successfully. and it took effect on ISCSCI port but it could not change the IP address of management port.. i tried several times but could not change.
is there anything else needs to be done?
