Hi all,
Just purchased a Dell RD 1000 Rack Mount USB with 1TB Disks. This is attached to a New Dell R820 running Windows Server 2012 with Hyper-V. Now the problem....Windows Server Backup doesn't see the drive. Under Computer Management>Disk Management the disk is listed. It's also visible under Windows Explorer. The driver for the RD1000 is showing as a Microsoft Driver dated 2006>6.2.9200.16384
When I connect my WD Passport portable external 1TB drive Windows Server backup see's it with no problem. I've looked at Dells site and there are no specific drivers for 2012. I've gone so far as to use a shared folder on that drive and still doesn't work The disks are formatted NTFS.
I'm stumped! Any ides?
